This Notice explains the operational scope, technical purpose, and user protections associated withMichi Vision, the automated image processing and data extraction feature within Guild Platform.
1. What Is Michi Vision
Michi Vision is a specialized game-data recognition tool. It processes in-game screenshots voluntarily uploaded by authorized guild members (such as guild leaders or advisors) to convert visual game screens into structured digital roster, level, and activity records.
This feature eliminates manual data entry for guild officers by scanning game UI screens to record member activity points and guild milestones.
2. Supported Information Extracted
Michi Vision extracts only game-visible values relevant to community management:
- Character Information: In-game character names and membership grades (e.g. Member, Advisor).
- Guild Metrics: Guild level, reputation, rank, and total guild activity points.
- Extraction Confidence: Statistical confidence scores and validation flags indicating whether automated matching was exact or requires review.
Michi Vision does not scan for or extract personal real-world information.
3. Automated Nature & Human Review
Automated visual recognition is inherently probabilistic. In-game effects, visual clutter, resolution differences, and font variations may occasionally lead to recognition errors or unmatched player names.
Human Review Recommended: Guild officers maintain full authority and access to review, correct, or reject automated extractions before finalizing points or guild records. The platform surfaces review warnings whenever visual ambiguity is detected.
4. Absolute Limitations & Safeguards
Explicit Limitations on Michi Vision:
- Not for Real-World Identity: Michi Vision is strictly an in-game tool and is never used for real-world identity verification, biometrics, facial recognition, or personal surveillance.
- No High-Impact Decisions: Michi Vision is never used for decisions concerning credit, employment, housing, insurance, education, legal status, healthcare, or other high-impact real-world determinations.
- Voluntary Submissions Only: Screenshots are processed only when intentionally initiated and uploaded by authorized guild leadership.
5. AI Training Commitments
Discord message content is not used to train Michi Vision or any underlying recognition models. Visual extraction models operate solely on the visual pixels of submitted screenshots to identify game text and numerals, and do not ingest your Discord communications, private messages, or member conversations.
6. Image Lifecycle & Retention
Source images uploaded for processing are stored in private, access-controlled cloud storage and are retained only for the technical lifecycle necessary to complete optical analysis, human officer review, and reconciliation. Temporary source uploads are subject to automatic lifecycle expiration in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
